Thought of the Day: Nothing cuts and wounds deeper than the cut given from a child.
Thought of the Day
Thought of the Day: When you ask for all your dreams to come true just remember nightmares are dreams too.

I have some exciting news for all you Apple users out there. I found out today that my books, with the exception of Beautifully Crazy, are now available for download in the ibooks store. Search Max M. Power to find them.
Sorry Kindle users, still no love from Amazon. The boycott continues.
Tango
I have been trying to write this poem for 20yrs now. It's hard to believe it's taken this long to get it out of my head. Here it is.
Tango
“Let us dance,
You and I.”
“What the hell,
It’s worth a try.”
I’ve done this dance,
Since the day I was born.
But for everyone else,
I have to mourn.
Death,
With all his tricks,
Has yet to take me,
I am still full of kicks.
We tango,
Us two.
But he will not touch me,
Afraid, maybe, of what I might do.
Every morning I wake,
With a long and heavy sigh.
So I challenge Death,
“Let us dance, you and I!”

Least Favorite Things
Least Favorite Things
My heartache,
My pain,
The insanity it brings,
These are a few of my least favorite things.
The coldness,
The dark,
The loneliness it brings,
These are a few of my least favorite things.
The loss of you,
You’re gone,
The memories it brings,
These are a few of my least favorite things.

Alone
I feel a DARK period coming on. All I can do is ride it out. This is the first result of this latest DARK period.
Alone
Alone
I sit.
Alone
Because into your world I do not fit.
Alone
Even with you there.
Alone
It just isn't fair.
Alone
As I hug myself tight.
Alone
So I cry silently late into the night.
Alone
I don't know what to do.
Alone
All I want is attention from you.
